LHU - VFLAME team reaps first "Harvest Glory" at 2024 Vietnam Robocon final

LHU - VFLAME robot team of LHU achieved the first absolute victory called "Harvest Glory" (Mùa Vàng) at the 2024 Vietnam Robot Contest's final round which kicked off in Hanoi on May 7 evening, with the participation of 32 best teams selected from the qualifying rounds.

After the opening ceremony is the competition of teams in groups A and B. This year's contest theme is called "Harvest Day", inspired by rice cultivation taking place on terraced fields.

Competing in Group A, LH-VFLAME excellently defeated all opponents to continue to enter the round of 16.

Instructors' happiness when witnessing their students' success

Round of 32 match schedules will continue from May 7 - 10.

According to the theme and rules, each team has two robots, namely Robot One (manual) and Robot Two (automatic) performing different tasks. 

Within 3 minutes, Robot 1 will collect the seedlings placed in the Seedling Rack (Area 1) and plant them in the Planting Zone. After that, Robot 1 continues to pick up the Paddy Rice and Empty Grain placed in the Harvesting Zone (Area 2) and transfer them to the Storage Zone in Area 3 in the following order: one empty grain and one paddy rice. However, the number of rice grains harvested by the robot cannot be greater than the number of seedling bundles planted in Zone 1.

Meanwhile, in Area 3, Robot 2 can collect the Paddy Rice and transfer it to the Silos.

The match will end when a team successfully fulfills the paddy rice storing task into the silos and meets the following conditions:

- Successfully storing the team's paddy rice into a minimum of three silos

- The silos are fully filled with paddy rice and contain a minimum of two paddy rice 

- The team's paddy rice must be at the top

  At that point, the team will achieve an absolute victory, called “Mùa Vàng”.
