LHU partners with enterprises to establish the "LHU Overcoming Difficulties Scholarship Fund" to provide financial support for students

On November 16, 2024, Lac Hong University held a grand ceremony to receive donations, officially launch the "LHU Overcoming Difficulties Scholarship Fund," and express gratitude to its partners. The event attracted over 70 businesses and individual donors from Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Long An, Tay Ninh, and Dong Nai, as well as 35 business associations from both inside and outside the province.

Representing the local government were Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, Deputy Director of Dong Nai Provincial Department of Foreign Affairs and Vice President of the Vietnam-China Friendship Association of Dong Nai Province; and Ms. Tran Thuy Tien, Secretary-General of the Union of Friendship Organizations and Vice President of the Vietnam-China Friendship Association of Dong Nai Province. Attending on behalf of the associations and businesses supporting the LHU scholarship fund were the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Ho Chi Minh City, the Hunan Chinese Enterprises Association in Ho Chi Minh City, the Hubei Chinese Enterprises Association in Ho Chi Minh City, the Anhui Enterprises Association, and many more. Over 70 businesses and individual donors from Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Long An, Tay Ninh, and Dong Nai also participated. Representing Lac Hong University were Ms. Do Thi Lan Dai, Chairwoman of the Board of Trustees; Mr. Lam Thanh Hien, President; Mr. Nguyen Vu Quynh, Vice President; and leaders of various departments.

Recognizing this, Lac Hong University has partnered with the business community to establish the "LHU Overcoming Difficulties Scholarship Fund".

The event received tremendous support from over 70 businesses and sponsors. The total sponsorship value is not just about specific numbers but also stands as a symbol of compassion, social responsibility, and faith in the younger generation. These contributions not only help students overcome difficulties but also send a powerful message: No one will be left behind on the journey to conquer knowledge.

At the ceremony, the university issued a decision to establish the Scholarship Fund Management Board, affirming transparency, accountability, and professionalism in its operations. The Board will ensure that all funds are used effectively to provide tangible benefits to the student community. Additionally, the Organizing Committee announced and awarded 36 scholarships to outstanding students who have overcome difficulties. Notably, three of the most exceptional students received full scholarships worth nearly 30 million VND each. This is a well-deserved recognition of their tireless efforts in pursuing knowledge.
