FEL Students Excellently Secure Second Prize at the 8th National Startup Festival (SV.Startup 2026)

Surpassing thousands of projects nationwide, the CASHEW ESSENCE – Cashew-based Vegan Food project by Lac Hong University students excellently claimed the National Second Prize at the 8th National Startup Festival for High School and University Students (SV.STARTUP 2026).

This brilliant achievement highlights the significant impact of Faculty of English Language (FEL) students in leadership roles. On April 19, 2026, during the National Finals held in Hanoi, the CASHEW ESSENCE project successfully convinced the panel of expert judges to win the First Runner-up (Second Prize) overall.

This was the sole project from Lac Hong University to reach the final round and achieve the highest ranking at this year's competition. This success is more than just an award; it is a testament to the effective operation of the "LHU Startup Ecosystem." At the event, the University was honored at three exemplary national levels:

- Institutional Level: Lac Hong University was named among the Top 25 educational institutions with exemplary startup activities.

- Faculty Level: Dr. Nguyen Van Tan – Vice Rector of LHU, was recognized among the Top 30 exemplary lecturers in the startup movement.

- Student Level: Vu Luong Hoai Linh (FEL) was excellently named among the Top 17 exemplary students in the national startup movement.

In the project's core team, the presence of two FEL representatives, Vu Luong Hoai Linh and Pham Thi Quynh Tram, played a crucial role in the overall success. Beyond their linguistic proficiency and international communication skills, they demonstrated sharp entrepreneurial mindsets and effective interdisciplinary networking. The recognition of Vu Luong Hoai Linh by the Ministry of Education and Training as a "National Exemplary Student" strongly affirms the capability of FEL students in leading and implementing large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects. This achievement is the "sweet fruit" of a relentless journey by a cohesive team under the dedicated guidance of experienced experts: Dr. Nguyen Van Tan and Mr. Ho Ngoc Hoang Long – Strategic advisors who directly inspired the team.
