Faculty of Science and Food Technology - Introduction of the Business Advisory Board and Alumni Liaison Board

To establish strong connections between the university, the department, and businesses, on March 25, 2023, the  Facultyof Food Science and Technology organized an event to introduce the Business Advisory Board and the Alumni Liaison Board. The aim was to collaborate in supporting the developing  educational programs, teaching, scientific research, technology transfer, and looking for scholarships and internship opportunities to students.

Guests attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Phuong Tai Loc, the Head of Human Resources ofCP Vietnam Joint Stock Company; Mr. Le Xuan Tan, the Director of Hanh Phuc Wood Company; Mr. Ngo Vo Thien Nhan, the Food Safety Inspector of Thu Duc City; Mr. Pham Minh Tien, the Head of Organization and Administration of the Provincial Center for Disease Control and other representatives from enterprise s and alumni.

At the ceremony, Dr. Nguyen Van Trung, the Director of the Enrollment and Public Relations Center, represented the university in presenting decisions to the 11 members of the advisory board.

The Business Advisory Board has the task of providing input information to build the program learning outcomes in accordance with the actual labor market needs. They also could participate in teaching, guiding, and evaluating scientific topics,  essays, and graduation projects. Additionally, they could support students during internship periods in their business throughout the academic semesters.

The ceremony received numerous contributions and suggestions, as well as scholarships programs from businesses, opening up many opportunities for students in the Faculty of Food Science and Technology.
