LHU's strategic partnership expands international study opportunities for students

In a move to broaden its international collaborations and enhance educational and research quality, Lac Hong University (LHU) welcomed a delegation from Häme University of Applied Sciences (HAMK), Finland, to its Campus 1 meeting room on February 18, 2025. This event not only reaffirms LHU's position within the global education network but also opens up a myriad of learning, research, and development opportunities for its students.

The event was attended by Dr. Lam Thanh Hien, Rector of LHU; Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam, Vice-Rectoralong with department heads and faculty members. Representing Häme University of Applied Sciences were Mr. Martti Majuri, Director of HAMK Advantage, and Ms. Teija Lehtonen, Development Manager of the International RDI-HAMK Advantage program.

The core focus of the meeting was to discuss joint training programs, faculty and student exchange initiatives, and collaborative research. Both parties agreed to implement student transfer programs and jointly pursue applied research projects in technology, engineering, and business administration. By combining HAMK's strengths in applied sciences with LHU's solid foundation in practical training, this partnership promises to deliver significant value to students and faculty from both institutions.

In the coming period, LHU will continue to strengthen its international collaboration programs, providing students with more opportunities to study and conduct research in a modern and advanced educational environment.
