FFA Students Win Multiple Awards at the 2026 National Olympiad in Econometrics and Applications

The Faculty of Finance and Accounting at Lac Hong University has once again affirmed its educational quality and strong commitment to research-oriented learning, as its student teams achieved outstanding success at the 11th National Olympiad in Econometrics and Applications 2026. The competition was jointly organized by the Academy of Finance, the Institute of Mathematics, and the Vietnam National Union of Students, bringing together student teams from universities across the country.

Through rigorous preparation, innovative research, and the effective application of econometric methods to practical issues, Lac Hong University students achieved remarkable results:

Second Prize was awarded to the team comprising Phan Khac Minh Hoang, Huynh Van Cong, and Pham Thi Mai Phuong, under the academic supervision of M.A. Le Quoc Dinh and Dr. Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet.

Third Prize was awarded to the team comprising Pham Thi Mai Phuong, Nguyen Vu Mong Hong, Nguyen Nguyen Oanh, and Vo Vu Hoai Phuong, under the supervision of M.A. Le Quoc Dinh and Dr. Nguyen Quoc HuyThird Prize was awarded to the team comprising Pham Thi Mai Phuong, Nguyen Vu Mong Hong, Nguyen Nguyen Oanh, and Vo Vu Hoai Phuong, under the supervision of M.A. Le Quoc Dinh and Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy.

Encouragement Prize was awarded to the team comprising Nguyen Do Phuong Anh, Nguyen Hoang Trang Anh, Nguyen Phuc Khanh, Vu Do Lan Phuong, and Pham Thi Mai Phuong, under the supervision of M.A. Le Quoc Dinh and Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy.

A particularly noteworthy achievement was that Pham Thi Mai Phuong participated in all three award-winning teams, demonstrating exceptional research capability, analytical thinking, academic excellence, and a strong commitment to continuous learning. Her accomplishment reflects the diligence, passion for research, and collaborative spirit fostered within the Faculty of Finance and Accounting.

These achievements also recognize the dedication, expertise, and academic mentorship of the supervising lecturers, namely M.A. Le Quoc Dĩnh, Dr. Nguyen Quoc Huy, and Dr. Nguyen Thi Bach Tuyet. Their guidance played a pivotal role throughout the entire research process, from developing research ideas and constructing econometric models to data analysis, report preparation, and presentation before the judging panel.
