LHU receives the 2nd cycle Certificate of Institutional Accreditation

On September 26th, LHU officially received the Certificate of Institutional Accreditation (cycle 2) from the VNU-HCM Center for Education Accreditation for meeting the education accreditation standards issued by the Ministry of Education and Training. This result marks an important milestone in the development journey and education quality assurance commitment at the first university in Dong Nai.

After a preliminary survey, the Center for Education Accreditation, VNU-HCM conducted an official external accreditation based on the education accreditation standards of the Ministry of Education and Training at LHU from June 20 - 24, 2023.

According to the external evaluation team, LHU simultaneously satisfies all 25 standards/4 areas. This result was unanimously approved by the Council for Education Quality Assurance, VNU-HCM according to Resolution No. 51/NQ-HĐKĐCLGD dated August 17, 2023. Specifically, Quality assurance on strategy: 4.07; Quality assurance on the system: 4.15; Quality assurance on the performance of functions: 4.12 and Performance outcomes: 4.02.

Previously, at the closing session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Ngoc Quynh Lam - Director of the CEA - VNUHCM shared that the evaluation team was attracted by the three highlights of LHU: the people; methodical strategies and investment in digital transformation; and systematically invested quality assurance and accreditation activities.

The 2nd cycle Certificate of Accreditation is an important recognition for LHU's endless efforts to improve the quality of teaching, research and training. This not only contributes to enhancing the University reputation but also ensures students access a quality learning environment consistent with international standards.

This achievement is the pride of LHU and has an important meaning for the community as well. LHU has demonstrated its abilities to achieve high quality standards and be ready to meet the increasing demands of society and the labor market. This will attract the attention and trust from students, parents and international research and training partners.
