LHU held the 31st Science and Technology Festival

The 31th LHU Science and Technology Festival was successfully held this morning with 24 excellent papers from three groups: Information Technology, Chemical and Environmental Engineering and Mechatronics - Electronics.

Attending the Festival were Vice Rector Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Vice Rector Nguyen Vu Quynh - Scientific Research Manager, Director of Scientific Research and Application Center Nguyen Thanh Son.

The Scientific Council included Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Lam - Research Institute of Electronics, Informatics and Automation, Dr. Nguyen Van Huy - Director of Nanpao Resin Vietnam Company, Assoc. Prof. Tran Ngoc Quyen - Vice Director of Ho Chi Minh City Institute of Materials Technology, MSc. Huynh Cao Tuan - Director of LHU Information Resources Center, MSc. Nguyen Van Phi - Manager of IT Department of Dong Nai Hospital and Dr. Nguyen Tat Bao Thien - Head of Signal Processing Subject of Posts and Telecommunications Institute.

At the Festival, Vice Rector Nguyen Vu Quynh delivered an opening speech. With the aim of promoting the learning movement and enhancing the self-research ability of students, the Festival always receives great attention of the University Management Board and becomes an annual activity attracting many scientists and researchers. He also praised students' spirit of scientific research and lecturers' devoted instruction at the event.

Representing 24 groups of authors participating in scientific research, student Nguyen Thi Hong Nghi from Faculty of Chemical and Environmental Engineering sent her thanks to the Faculty Management Board' support and dedicated instruction of lecturer Doan Thi Tuyet Le who has given students more skills in analysis, research as well as presentation skills and other soft ones.

At the Festival, research topics were marked and highly appreciated by the Scientific Council on applying software in research as well as practical ability to society. In addition, the Council pointed out some limited points in papers and weak points in presentations.
