Lac Hong University Science and Technology Day 2026: Pharmacy students achieve outstanding research awards

On June 17, 2026, Lac Hong University successfully organized the 43rd Science and Technology Day, bringing together lecturers, researchers, and students to showcase and celebrate outstanding scientific and technological achievements across the university.

The annual event serves as an important platform for promoting research activities, innovation, and knowledge exchange while recognizing individuals and groups who have made significant contributions to scientific advancement and practical applications.

As part of the event, a variety of research projects were featured through both on-site and online exhibitions. Among them, students from the Faculty of Pharmacy achieved remarkable success with their research products presented in the online exhibition category.

The award-winning projects included:

First Prize
Optimization of the Extraction Process for Cynaroside-Rich Extract from Bitter Leaf (Vernonia amygdalina Del.) Using Response Surface Methodology (RSM)

Student: Nguyen Chinh Huy Khoa – Faculty of Pharmacy

Third Prize
Research and Formulation of Soft Gelatin Capsules Containing Turmeric Oil Extract (Rhizoma Curcumae Longae) and Honey

Student: Vu Quang Chinh – Faculty of Pharmacy

These achievements reflect the students’ strong research capabilities, scientific thinking, and innovative spirit. The awarded projects also demonstrate the Faculty of Pharmacy’s commitment to promoting research on natural medicinal resources and developing products with potential applications in healthcare.

The outstanding performance of Pharmacy students at the 43rd Science and Technology Day further affirms the Faculty’s dedication to excellence in education and research. It also serves as a source of inspiration for students to continue pursuing scientific inquiry, creativity, and innovation in their academic and professional journeys.
