LHU to join in and be honored at science seminar

Recently, representing for LHU, Dr. Nguyen Van Tan - Dean of Faculty of Business Administration and International Economics participated in a science seminar themed "Vietnam Science and Technology Invention with national industrialization and modernization" held by Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations in cooperation with Vinh Phuc People's Committee, Central Department of Propaganda and Training and Ministry of Science and Technology. The event was held on August 8 at Tam Dao town, Vinh Phuc province.

Science seminar is a annual event which takes place in August by Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technological Creations (VIFOTEC) as a permanent unit. This year seminar included 15 presentations around the theme.

Participating in the seminar, LHU had a report named "Research, Science and Technology Invention and Training movement at LHU" presented by Dr. Nguyen Van Tan.

On the occasion, the Organizing Board announced Decisions to award certificates of merit of the Prime Minister, Emulation Flags of Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, rewards of Vinh Phuc People’s Committee, campaign medals "For the cause of propaganda and training" and "For the cause of Vietnam Science and Technology Invention", honorary certificates for excellent individuals and collectives.

LHU was honored to be the only unit to receive the Excellent Emulation Flag of Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations for its contributions in propagandizing, popularizing and organizing the Award (2012-2013).
