LHU is committed to training highly qualified human resources to meet the demands of the labor market. To achieve this goal, the University considers scientific research a core mission for the following reasons:
- Enhancing knowledge application: Research activities enable students to apply their academic knowledge to real-world scientific problems. This process deepens their understanding and expands their expertise.
- Developing essential skills: Scientific research fosters creativity, critical thinking, independence, and teamwork. These skills equip students with the confidence and adaptability needed to thrive in professional environments after graduation.
- Improving training quality: Research plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of education. It inspires innovation, encourages new inventions, and leads to the development of practical products.
Therefore, every year hundreds of research topics are conducted by both lecturers and students at LHU. The University organizes 2 turns for students, in June and in December, and one for lecturers in June. To date, the University has hosted more than 40 research conferences. Many projects have received awards at provincial and national levels and have been published in both domestic and international scientific journals.
