The FFA Implemented “The Spreading Love Program 2024” At Hoa Hao Social Assistance Facility

On Saturday morning, June 8, 2024, continuing the meaningful actions of spreading and sharing love, healthy leaves covering torn leaves in the 2024 charity trip, the Youth Union – Student Union of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting coordinated with the Youth Union – Student Union of the Faculty of Engineering to continue their visit to Hoa Hao Sponsored Facility,  this is a sponsorship facility located in the countryside of Rach Bay hamlet (Phu Huu commune, Nhon Trach district, Dong Nai province) specializing in carrying and caring for lonely and sick elderly people who are helpless. Locals are still used to calling Ms. Hong's Home or Hong Thuan nursing home.

The road to Ms. Hong's Home is not easy to find because this place is a rural area, the roads are winding and difficult to walk. But just one visit will definitely be unforgettable, because Ms. Hong's home is very large and spacious, no different from nursing centers in the city.

This place is not only taking care of lonely elderly people but also taking care of people with neurological and memory loss. When students come here, seeing how the elderly live and are cared for by the shelter, everyone carries an indescribable emotion. Some of the elderly also greeted the delegation with bright smiles on their faces, their eyes shining with joy when someone visited and chatted. Teachers and students were contacted, photographed and exchanged a few stories about life and why they are cared for here.

The visiting delegation also brought meaningful gifts worth 3 million VND to the facility such as necessities such as rice, fish sauce, soy sauce, confectionery, and laundry detergent,... and a part of the cash contributed by the students of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting and the Faculty's lecturers. Through this, the Charity Program "Spreading Love 2024" of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting would like to thank the sponsors, teachers and students who have always given their love and interest to the program during the past time.
