On November 7, 2025, at Hall A301 – Campus 1, Lac Hong University, the Faculty of Finance and Accounting organized a specialized seminar titled “Vietnam’s Export Activities in the Digital Transformation Era – The Role of Customs and Global Competitive Advantages.”

The seminar welcomed Mr. Nguyen Duc Vinh – Deputy Head of the Customs Operations Division, Customs Sub-department Region XVIII, as the guest speaker. The event attracted more than 200 students from the Logistics and Supply Chain Management program.

During the seminar, the speaker provided an overview of digital transformation trends in export activities, along with key topics such as: electronic customs procedures, the role of technology in optimizing supply chains, governmental support policies for export enterprises, and essential skills that logistics professionals need to adapt to the new context. Students also had the opportunity to receive direct clarification on export documentation processes, legal regulations, and real-world challenges commonly faced by businesses.

With active interaction and open discussions, the seminar offered valuable practical insights, helping students better understand the linkage between theoretical knowledge and export operations within enterprises. Many in-depth questions were raised regarding the application of digital technologies in supply chain management and logistics cost optimization.

This seminar is one of the key academic activities of the Faculty of Finance and Accounting for the academic year 2025–2026, strengthening the connection between the university and industry, and aiming to develop practice-oriented training and professional competency for students in the context of globalization and international integration.
