LHU receives Third Class Labor Medal

In the morning of October 31, a solemnly ceremony was organized at Dong Nai provincial Event and Convention Center to offer noble rewards of the Party and the State. This is the second time the province has held such ceremony to honor collectives and individuals for their significant contributions to the province’s construction and development. Lac Hong University was honored to receive Third Class Labor Medal of the Prime Minister for its excellent achievement at 2014 ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest held in August in India.

Chairman Dinh Quoc Thai of the provincial People’s Committee awarded Third Class Labor Medal to Lac Hong University.

Attending the event were Secretary of the provincial Party Committee  Tran Dinh Thanh, Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Dinh Quoc Thai, Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Tran Minh Phuc, LHU's delegation including Vice Rector Meritorious Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Vice Rector - Chief of Robocon delegation Lam Thanh Hien, Chairman of Trade Union Dr. Diep Cam Thu, Secretary of Youth Union Le Son Quang, robocon delegation and representatives from local departments and agencies.

Lac Hong Robocon delegation was bestowed merit by provincial Management Board.

Speaking at the ceremony, Head of Robocon delegation Nguyen Ba Thuan expressed his feeling and his great thanks to the State and the Party as well as provincial leadership for his robocon delegation contribution and efforts in robot contests. He also expressed his delegation's effort and more responsibility to continue to bring into play gained achievements.

On this occasion, Dong Nai provincial People’s Committee awarded certificates of merit to 14 members of Lac Hong University’s LH-NVN team who came first at the 2014 ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest.
