LHU held Laborer Conference 2021

137 delegates representing more than 500 officials, teachers and staff of LHU on December 29 attended the Laborer Conference 2021-2022 via Zoom Meeting due to the impact of the epidemic.

The conference saw the presence of Mr. Nguyen Trung Phuong - Secretary of Party Committee, Mr. Lam Thanh Hien - Rector, Mr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector, Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong - Member of the Executive Committee of the National Education Union of Viet Nam, Chairwoman of Labor Union of LHU and Mr. Le Son Quang - Secretary of Youth Union.

Rector Lam Thanh Hien approved the summary report of the academic year 2020 - 2021 and goals for the year 2021 - 2022

At the conference, the Organizers announced the Decisions to appoint 17 individuals to hold the positions of Deputy Heads of faculties, offices and units in term 2020-2025. At the same time, the University Council appointed Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh - Head of Chinese Studies Department as the Head of International Affairs Office cum Vice Dean of the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

Also, all labourers unanimously passed the 2021-2022 Collective Labor Agreement. To promote emulation movements, leaders of nearly 30 units were committed to well implement the 2021-2022 Emulation Covenant.

In addition, the Conference approved the summary report for the school year 2020 - 2021 and emphasized the directions of 2021 - 2022. On the occasion, the Organizers honored and awarded collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in emulation movements and activities such as the title "Good at work, Responsible at home", emulation titles of the General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial People's Committee, LHU Labor Union.

The Conference was successfully held in the spirit of unity, determination of all members, ready for all activities and movements of LHU and Labor Union, promising a new successful school year.
