Assessment Methods and Measures Workshop

LHU collaborated with experts from BUILD - IT and Arizona State University on February 15 to organize a workshop on Assessment Methods and Measures. 

The workshop was attended by DSc. Lam Thanh Hien – Rector, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - Vice Rector in charge of Quality Assurance, leaders of the Office of Educational Testing and QA, leaders and lecturers of the four faculties including Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics, Faculty of Oriental Studies, Faculty of Finance and Accounting and Faculty of Civil Engineering.

Mr. Tran Van Thai – Quality Assurance and Accreditation Program Manager, Arizona State University has accompanied the QA activities of LHU for many years

As a member university, LHU has continuously received great support from BUILD – IT in the quality accreditation and the integration of regional and international educational standards over the years.

The workshop provided lecturers with assessment methods and measures according to the regional and international educational standards

During the workshop, Mr. Tran Van Thai - Manager of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Program, Arizona State University helped participants access the Bloom scale and apply knowledge to build a course output standards corresponding to appropriate assessment tools. At the same time, they learned about assessment methods and measures on student outcomes.

Rector Lam Thanh Hien stated the University would determine to build and develop the 4.0 education ecosystem

Over the years, LHU has put great concentration and investment in quality assurance and accreditation programs. In 2018, LHU was the first one in Dong Nai province recognized for its education accreditation standard by the Center for Education Accreditation - VNU-HCM. The University has also participated in a number of international projects to affirm its training quality such as BUILD – IT project, AUN-QA (with six certified programs) and EMVIET with its determination to build a 4.0 education ecosystem.
