Oriental Festival to be held

Faculty of Oriental Studies, LHU on May 15 in collaboration with King Sejong Institute Bien Hoa held the program "Oriental Festival" at the multifunctional room A301, LHU.

The festival attracted the participation of 116 students from Vinh Cuu High School. At the festival, the participants experienced many interesting activities such as wearing traditional Chinese - Japanese - Korean costumes, participating in the "Oriental beauty photo contest"; music games such as Random dance, guessing song titles, guessing movie names,... In addition to experiencing the cultural activities, they learned about the potentials and career opportunities of the majors: Chinese Language, Korean Studies, Japanese Studies; joining the mini game "word guessing"; registering for admissions to receive instant gifts and a lucky draw program.

 “I really enjoy this festival. Coming here, we not only enjoy unique musical performances but also sing and express our personalities. In addition, teachers help us understand better about the Faculty of Oriental Studies", shared Truong Bich Ngoc from class 10A2, Vinh Cuu High School.

High school students actively joined in games and received many gifts from the organizers

Wishing to become a teacher, Nguyen Quynh Anh from grade 12A12, Vinh Cuu High School said “Thank you so much for giving me a useful playground. I'm so happy to learn about different languages. Before coming here, I didn't think about learning a foreign language, but now I'm rekindling a plan to study Japanese."

Sponsored by King Sejong Institute Bien Hoa, LHU is the first Korean Language Institute in Dong Nai of the King Sejong Institute system worldwide. The Oriental Festival took place excitedly with many meaningful activities and many attractive prizes and gifts from the organizers. The festival provided high school students with useful information about choosing majors and choosing schools before the coming enrollment season.
