LHU participated in the symposium on university rankings

On September 22, LHU and more than 100 delegates involved in strategy, assessment and internationalization from over 30 Vietnamese higher education institutions attended "THE Rankings symposium in Ho Chi Minh City" co-organized by VNU-HCM and THE at the VNU-HCM's Executive House.  

The symposium aimed to provide Vietnamese universities with a deeper understanding of the rankings to develop their potential and performance.

At the event, Ms. Elizabeth Shepherd, Managing Director of Consultancy Services at THE, delivered an analysis of Vietnamese universities’ performance in the World University Rankings 2022. While Mr. Ritin Malhotra, General Manager and Regional Director of Asia introduced THE Impact Rankings, which assesses universities against the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals.

Through the symposium, universities had the opportunity to exchange and get experience on data collection methods when participating in the rankings, thereby helping LHU in particular and universities in Vietnam in general have better preparation for participating and submitting ranking data in the coming time.
