LHU students attending the 2023 Digital Business Contest launch ceremony

On August 25, 2023, at the Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City, the launching ceremony of the 2023 Digital Business Contest took place with the participation of 1,000 students, including LHU students majoring in E-commerce and IT of the Faculty of Information Technology. The event was co-organized by Vietnam E-Commerce Association (VECOM), Network of E-commerce Training Institutions (VECOMNET) in collaboration with Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City.

The contest creates an attractive environment for students majoring in E-commerce, Digital Business and related ones to demonstrate their talents; improve teamwork skills and creative entrepreneurial spirit; link school knowledge with dynamic business practices; and approach new technologies and business solutions.

The launching ceremony included three parts: Introduction about the 2023 Digital Business Talent Contest; Responses from E-commerce students and businesses; and Q & A about rules and information related to the contest.

As a sponsor of the contest, BSH Insurance hopes to join the community and VECOM in contributing to building and developing the e-commerce industry in Vietnam; opening up cooperation opportunities between universities and businesses in e-commerce; promising to create an attractive environment for students nationwide to show their talents and apply knowledge in business practice with new technology and solutions. BSH also expects to create high-quality young human resources, meeting labor market needs in the context of digital economic development.    

The contest focuses on contents including Online Sales; Digital Marketing; Digital Business Ideas and Green E-commerce.

The final round and awards Gala is scheduled for December 2023.

In response to the contest, the Faculty of Information Technology, LHU planned to launch the contest for students who share the same passion, learn and improve their knowledge together. The participants will be supported and instructed with both offline and online forms; approached the leading e-commerce businesses in Vietnam; learned and improved with other university students.
