LHU visits Nam Tan Uyen Plastic Factory

On the morning of October 16, 2023, LHU's representatives including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Van Tan - Dean of the Faculty of Administration - International Economics; MSc. Le Hoang Anh - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics; MBA. Nguyen Hai Quan - Head of the Division of Corporate Relations and Student Support and staff in charge of internship management visited and worked with leaders of Nam Tan Uyen Plastic Factory under the Binh Thuan Plastic Group.

Welcoming the LHU delegation were Mr. Hoang Tuan Anh - Deputy General Director of Binh Thuan Plastic Group, Director of Binh Thuan South Plastic; Mr. Tran Ton Khanh - Marketing Director; Mr. Hoang Van Dung - Head of Technical Department; Mr. Nguyen Duy Nhat - Head of Production and their partners.

Nam Tan Uyen Plastic Factory is located at Lot E, Road N5, N6, Nam Tan Uyen Industrial Park, Khanh Binh ward, Tan Uyen town, Binh Duong province. The Factory specializes in manufacturing and supplying pallets and supporting products for Industry - Agriculture - Fishery.

During the working session, the two sides discussed the sustainable and long-term cooperation opportunities and the expansion of a factory in the southern region. The Factory said it needs a team of qualified workforce to develop the factory in the future. In addition, the Factory expressed its wish to cooperate with LHU in terms of technology transfer in electromechanics, automation; visits; technical internships; Business Administration; job opportunities and scholarship programs for poor studious students.

On behalf of the LHU Management Board, Vice Rector Nguyen Vu Quynh extended his heartfelt appreciation to the factory's Board of Directors for their warm and thoughtful welcome. He was also very surprised and happy to meet a former student who is working and holding an important position at the Factory.
