IT students win First and Third at VietFuture Award 2023

On December 14, in Hue city, the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province in collaboration with the Vietnam Software and Information Technology Services Association (VINASA) organized the award ceremony for "VietFuture 2023 – Future Innovation Awards". This is a part of the Thua Thien Hue Digital Transformation Week 2023.

Starting from 2023, this award is organized by VINASA under the patronage of the Ministry of Science and Technology and the People's Committee of Thua Thien Hue province. It is open to innovative startup projects by students from universities and colleges nationwide, as well as projects commissioned by businesses, concurrently help businesses find new ideas for their ecosystem of products and solutions, seek collaborations, and recruit talented groups.

In this first year, the Organizers received 74 projects by students from 27 universities and colleges across the country. The competition consisted of three separate rounds: preliminary, presentations and the final round with many activities: presentations, exhibitions, demos, connection, cooperation, recruitment...

The Organizers awarding 5 First prizes to 5 best projects at the "VietFuture 2023 – Future Innovation Awards"

At the award ceremony, the Organizers awarded 5 First, 5 Second, 5 Third and 4 Potential prizes to 19 excellent projects.

Participating in the competition, IT students of LHU had three projects. In the end, a group of students including Bui Huu Thong; Bui Van Anh Hao; Pham Tran Phuc Trung; Ngo Nghia Hong Phuc won the First prize with the topic “Design and create fuel cells for electric vehicles” instructed by DSc. Le Phuong Long. In addition, Student Dang Van Huy took Third place with the topic "ITFSD Ecosystem" instructed by lecturers of the Faculty of Information Technology.
