LHU students listed among Korean Debate Contest's finalists

On September 9, 2024, three students majoring in Korean Studies, LHU including Le Van Viet, Duong Huynh Bao Tran and Tran Ngoc Ha Vy participated in the qualifying round of the Korean Debate Contest - Hangeul Festival 2024 held at Van Lang University.

The competition aims to provide an opportunity for students to demonstrate their Korean language skills, debate skills and logical thinking, while promoting cultural exchanges and understanding. 

The preliminary round brought together 16 three-member teams from 16 universities and colleges, competing in a direct confrontation format with 8 different topics covering the use of Chat-GPT in studying, the impact of social media, protecting personal information online and environmental issues,... The 8 best teams were selected for the final round with 4 extremely attractive topics.

With their outstanding language proficiency and high determination, Le Van Viet, Duong Huynh Bao Tran and Tran Ngoc Ha Vy demonstrated their talent and confidence, also advancing to the final round which is scheduled to be held on October 5.
