Exchange meeting with National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan

The Faculty of Postgraduate Studies, LHU on November 26, 2024 welcomed and met with a delegation of leaders and postgraduate students from National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (YunTech, NYUST), Taiwan. The event marks a new step in the University's international cooperation strategy.

The NYUST side was represented by Mr. Tran Chieu Hoanh - Dean of the College of Management cum Director of the Master' Program in Advanced Management ; Mr. Ton Gia Minh - Vice Dean of the College of Management cum Director of the Doctoral Program in Industrial Business; Mr. Trinh Bac Van - Professor of the Faculty of Industrial Management; Mr. Ong Thuong Lenh – Assistant of the Master of Advanced Management Program.

The delegation was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Lam - Vice Rector, Dr. Lu Phi Nga - Dean of the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies; Dr. Nguyen Van Tan - Dean of the Faculty of Administration and International Economics; MA. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh and MA. Hoang Tien Dung - Head and Deputy Head of the Office of International Affairs; along with postgraduate students.

NYUST has established a partnership with LHU since March 2023 through a student exchange program between the two sides.

NYUST was founded in 1991 with the mission to pursue academic excellence in both science and technology, as well as humanities. It currently ranks as the third-leading university of science and technology in Taiwan with modern facilities, including the College of Engineering, College of Management, College of Design, College of Humanities and Applied Sciences, and College of Future, providing 23 undergraduate programs, 27 master's and 13 doctoral programs.

At the event, the delegation of NYUST met and exchanged with LHU postgraduate students, at the same time discussing cooperation opportunities between the two universities.
