Attending the seminar on Career Orientations in Vung Tau
Recently, the two day seminar of November 5th and 6th , 2010 took place in Vung Tau with the theme "Training on vocational guidance, employment counseling for students in the Southern region” held by the Ministry of Education and Training with the participation of Dr. Dang Duy So (Director), Tran Dung, M.A (Vice Director) of Center for International Relations Overseas Study and Employment - Lac Hong University.
Attending the seminar were also Mr Nguyen Le Minh, the Leader of Students Affairs Department, Chairman of Vietnamese Vocational Training Association, Ms. Tran Thi Thai Ha – the Center for Analysis and Forecast NCDT– the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences, Dr. Pham Van Son - the Center for Supporting Workforce Training and Supplying – the Ministry of Education and Training, Southern Universities, Colleges, and Centers.
The seminar mentioned training, profession and employment related issues, postgraduate testing methods, issues regarding the connection between training institutions and enterprises in the human resources supply.
Ending the seminar, all the representatives from Universities, Colleges and Centers in the Southern area have agreed and affirmed that the work needs to be done and should reach consent and support from the schools' principals. In this seminar, Lac Hong University has registered to participate in database construction on business relations and employment of students after graduation.
