Tran Thi Thuy Tien and Nguyen Quang Huy crowned Miss and Mister LHU

Tran Thi Thuy Tien and Nguyen Quang Huy have won the title of Miss and Mister of the LHU Student Beauty Contest 2024 which took place on May 23 evening at Golden Lotus Restaurant. This is the second time LHU has organized this contest, aiming to honor the beauty, talent and intelligence of students.

Top 20 contestants to compete in the final round

The LHU Student Beauty Contest was launched from March 12 and lasted for over two months with three main rounds: preliminary, semifinal and final. 20 best contestants were selected for the final round to compete in the categories of traditional costumes (Ao dai by designer Tuan Hai), evening gowns and question-and-answer sessions.

The Contest' panel of Judges was made up of reputable experts in the fields of arts, fashion and education.

Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Vu Quynh - Vice Rector of LHU said the Student Beauty Contest is an opportunity not only for students to shine and show themselves, but also for the University to connect and engage the student community; also encouraging young people to develop comprehensively in all aspects from appearance, talent, thinking to personality,...

He also expressed his hope that the contestants will be more confident in demonstrating their knowledge and abilities, especially in improving skills and the learning process through participating in coming school activities.

Tran Thi Thuy Tien and Nguyen Quang Huy surpassing 18 contestants to take the crown of Miss and Mister LHU

In the end, the Organizing Committee awarded the title of Miss Beauty to contestant Tran Thi Thuy Tien from the Faculty of Oriental Studies and the title of Mister Beauty to contestant Nguyen Quang Huy from the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics.

Pham Thi Vo Hong Dieu from the Faculty of Administration and International Economics and Pham Thanh Khang from the Faculty of Finance and Accounting were named the 1st Runner-up of Miss and Mister Beauty.

The 2nd Runner-up titles went to Nguyen Thi Hoa and Nguyen Chi Toan from the Faculty of Oriental Studies.

The Organizers also awarded additional prizes to other beauties at the Contest, including Best Media (1 prize), Most Impressive Face voted by sponsors (2 prizes), Miss and Mister Ao Dai (2 prizes), and giving a special award "Best Banner" to the Faculty of Information Technology worth a mace of gold.
