Student Admission

Lac Hong University (LHU) has several admission policies for its training disciplines based on the admission scheme by Ministry of Education and Training (MOET). 

Information Engineering Technology (IET) program can enroll students in four ways, including: 

1. Admission based on the results of national high school examination 

Intake requirements: 

- A pass result;

- Total score of three subjects in a block (in Table 1.1) must at least meet the minimum score annually specified in the admission scheme by LHU. The minimum score must be equal or greater than that annually specified by MOET.

2. Admission based on the results of competence-based test conducted by either Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (VNUHCM) or LHU.

Intake requirements: 

- Graduated from high school;

- The minimum admission score is equal to the entrance quality assurance threshold as prescribed by LHU. (The entrance quality assurance threshold of LHU is announced after the results of the Competency Assessment exam organized by VNUHCM).

3. Direct offer for outstanding students as specified in MOET admission scheme.

Intake requirements: 

- Fully meet all the requirements specified by MOET admission scheme;

4. Admission from the academic records of Grade 12 with subjects corresponding to those four blocks (A00, A01, D01, D07) as shown in Table 1.1.

Intake requirements:

- A pass result;

- Fully meet all requirements specified by MOET admission scheme for the admission from the academic records of Grade 12.

2. Applications for admission in specific phases as follows:

a) Phase 1: Feb 1 - Jun 30

b) Phase 2: Jun 1 - Jul 10   

g) Phase 7: Aug 21 - Aug 31

c) Phase 3: Jul 11 - Jul 20 

h) Phase 8: Sept 1 - Sept 10

d) Phase 4: Jul 21 - Jul 31 

k) Phase 9: Sept 10 - Oct 30

e) Phase 5: Aug 1 - Aug 10


3. How to apply: Candidates can submit applications in 2 ways

- Option 1: Register directly at:

4. Application documents include:

- Temporary graduation certificate or high school diploma (notarized copy)

- Certificate of high school exam results (original)

- High school transcript (notarized copy)

- Birth certificate or identity card (notarized copy)
