Project-based learning has been a model that is no longer strange to Engineering students of LHU in recent years. Learning through projects, students become the center of development, bringing a lot of practical values for production and community life. Particularly, the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics, during the past two years of the epidemic, has made an impressive highlight for its own and the University by creating highly applicable and commercialized products such as Solar panel cleaning robot, Robot for disinfection and stuff transport, Electric wheelchair, …

Only in the past 5 years, the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics has carried out more than 50 projects transferred to businesses and dozens of research projects winning high prizes at local and national creative science competitions. Most recently, the project of aluminum stamping machine worth VND 371 million has been transferred to Lixil Vietnam Co., Ltd.

Earlier in January, the Faculty of received and deployed the project for a group of seven students from second-year to final-year and expected to handover to the company on February 19. On February 16, the company's representatives led by Mr. Thoi Van Nhat - Equipment Team Leader and engineers from the Technical Department came to LHU Center for Scientific Research and Application to check the progress and also discuss with the Faculty a number of machine improvement projects in the near future.

After checking progress and specifications, Mr. Nhat highly appreciated the students' ability and productivity and felt assured and satisfied with product quality.

Learning through projects helps students strengthen teamwork skills, disciplines in work, progress and time management skills,...
