Study abroad interviews between LHU students and STUST

On the morning of May 7, 2024, a delegation from Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology (STUST) visited and worked with LHU, also interviewing some students majoring in Engineering.

STUST was represented by Dr. Jing-Jo Tang – Deputy Head of the Office of International Affairs; Dr. Lih-Yang Wang – Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering; Ms. Kim Chang - Coordinator for International Relations; Mr. Nguyen Duc Vuong - Staff.

On behalf of LHU, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh and Mr. Hoang Tien Dung – Head and Deputy Head of the Office of International Affairs; Mr. Pham Van Toan - Dean of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics; Ms. Van Dinh Vy Phuong – Dean of the Faculty of Information Technology; and related staff welcomed and worked with the delegation.

The working session between the two universities

LHU and STUST have been in partnership since 2013. The two sides have cooperated in programs like Master's Scholarships in Economics and Engineering, PhD Scholarships in Engineering for lecturers and students. STUST is a leading one among private technology universities in Taiwan with modern facilities, and has currently about 18,000 students enrolled.

During the visit, STUST introduced and discussed scholarship programs in Engineering; Master's scholarships and student exchange programs offered to LHU students.

With the framework of the meeting, Dean of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, STUST Lih-Yang Wang conducted interviews with some students of the Faculty of Mechatronics and Electronics, LHU. The students were provided with detailed information about studying and working at STUST through the interviews.
