LHU's delegates attending Belt and Road Thematic Forum on Sub-national Cooperation

Accepting the invitation of Wenzhou University of Technology (WZUT), LHU's delegation led by Ms. Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh - Head of the Office of International Affairs visited and attended "Thematic Forum on Sub-national Cooperation" within the framework of the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation (BRF) held in Beijing, China from October 17-19, 2023. 

The event marking the 10th anniversary of the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) was solemnly held from October 18-19, 2023 in Beijing, China. On the morning of October 18, 2023, the tenth anniversary ceremony of the BRI took place at the China National Convention Center. There were also 3 high-level forums, 6 thematic ones, and business conferences. LHU's delegates attended the "Thematic Forum on Sub-national Cooperation" taking place on September 18 afternoon, 2023.

During the Forum, delegates discussed the theme "Strengthening Sub-national Cooperation, Promoting Common Development". The theme aims to strengthen friendship exchanges, promote mutually beneficial cooperation among subnational governments in the BRI's framework. Forum participants positively evaluated the fruitful outcomes achieved by China's government and partner countries in cooperation between friendship cities, cultural exchange achievements, economic and trade cooperation within the framework of BRI. The delegates also highly appreciated the role of sub-national cooperation as the most important and influential activity that benefits the people.

By attending forums of the BRI, LHU has been actively expanding more cooperative relationships with regional and international partners, helping to enhance its position in the educational cooperation field.
