The World Chinese Bridge Competition for College Students is a global competition focusing on language, culture, history, and the people of China. The preliminary rounds are held in various countries, with the final round taking place in the People's Republic of China. The 22nd edition of the competition was organized on May 26, 2023, at Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, serving as the examination center for the Southern region of Vietnam. The Southern region had a total of 32 participants from 15 universities, including Ho Chi Minh City University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Lac Hong University, Van Hien University, Thu Dau Mot University, Nguyen Tat Thanh University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, Van Lang University, University of Economics and Finance Ho Chi Minh City, Hong Bang International University, Open University Ho Chi Minh City, Hung Vuong University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Food Industry, and Hoa Sen University.

Participating in the 22nd World Chinese Bridge Competition, Lac Hong University was represented by two students: Ho Tuyet Ngan (Class 20DT112) and Ho Thanh Ha (Class 20DT113).

In this year's competition, contestants participated in three main rounds to assess their Chinese language proficiency, knowledge about China, and cultural skills (music, dance, arts, calligraphy, martial arts, etc.). Additionally, a comprehensive skills round tested the participants' ability to apply their knowledge related to Chinese language and culture. After three intense rounds (knowledge, eloquence, and talent), both contestants, Ho Tuyet Ngan and Ho Thanh Ha, achieved the "Encouragement Award" for the entire delegation at the 22nd World Chinese Bridge Competition for College Students.

Through these accomplishments, it can be affirmed that the Chinese Language students at Lac Hong University possess a proactive spirit, a passion for learning, and confidence. These results are a testament to the continuous training efforts not only of the two participants but also of the entire group of students involved in the talent competition. This achievement is seen as a stepping stone for Chinese Language students at Lac Hong University to strive for further success in upcoming international competitions.

The World Chinese Bridge Competition serves as an interesting and beneficial academic playground, providing students with opportunities for training, knowledge exploration, skill testing, and real-world exposure to enhance communication, behavior, and talent. Additionally, it fosters cultural connections with friends nationally and internationally, promoting a deeper understanding of China and strengthening the bonds of friendship between Vietnam and China.
