ABSTRACT:
This study determines the factors affecting the choice of commercial banks for borrowing money of small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) in Dong Nai province. The study’s research model is developed by using theories and results of previous studies. The analysis of 279 valid survey questionnaires with the use of AMOS software shows that there are 05 factors that affect the decision to choose a commercial bank to borrow money from SMEs, namely: (1) Appropriate lending policy, (2) Speed of loan application processing, (3) Competitive interest rates and fees, (4) Third-party referrals, and (5) Attitude of credit officer.
