Library

LHU libraryunder the Center of Information and Resources, was established in 1997 and is located in Building A, Campus 1. The library houses a collection of more than 11,200 printed titles (equivalent to more than 22,100 volumes) in Vietnamese, English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese. The collection mainly consists of textbooks and reference books. In addition, the library provides access to three electronic databases and stores more than 3,400 scientific research reports.

Since 2015, the University has partnered with Vina Document Co., Ltd. to build, develop, and operate the Digital Library, which is accessible at http://thuvienso.lhu.edu.vn.

The library covers a total area of 1,000 square meters and offers resources in various fields, including engineering, foreign languages, information technology, economics, culture, history, accounting,... Its primary mission is to support the University’s activities in training, teaching, learning, and research.

The library provides information resources to both faculty and students in print and electronic formats. Thousands of e-books, e-lectures, and scientific journals are readily accessible. In addition to its diverse collection, the library is equipped with internet-connected computers to facilitate online access and book searching. It also features reading rooms and group study rooms to support diverse learning needs.

The Library regularly updates and expands its collection to meet the teaching, learning, and research needs of the University’s faculty, staff, and students.

Mission

The library’s mission is to store, manage, and provide information resources across various fields to support the University’s training, teaching, and research activities. It aims to facilitate timely and convenient access to information for staff, faculty members, and students.

Facilities

The library is located on the first floor of Building A, Campus 1 and is divided into two main areas: a book lending section and a spacious reading room. The reading room is equipped with internet-connected computers and includes four self-study rooms to accommodate both individual and group learning needs.
