Experts visited LHU for consultation on ABET Accreditation

On March 5, the ABET evaluation team led by Prof. Dr. Scott Danielson from Arizona State University, BUILD- IT Project visited LHU for two days to prepare for the official evaluation in 2022. Experts of ABET (the American-based Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology) focused on reviewing program quality of Faculty of Information Technology and Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology.

ABET accreditation means that students, employers and the community can be confident that LHU is graduating the high-quality professionals, recognized by American universities and companies to enter the global workforce.

The ABET evaluation is based on 9 criteria including Students, Educational Program Objectives, Student Outcomes, Continuous Improvement, Curriculum, Faculty, Facilities, Institutional Support and Program Criteria.
