    The Tourism and Travel Management is implementing a self-assessment of the training program according to the AUN-QA standards.

    On January 12, 2024, the Department of Examination and Quality Assurance collaborated with the AIE to organize a meeting to implement the self-assessment process of the Tourism and Travel Management program according to the AUN-QA (ASEAN University Network - Quality Assurance) standards. The meeting was attended by Dr. Lam Thanh Hien - University Rector, Dr. Le Phuong Truong - Head of the Department of Examination and Quality Assurance, along with the faculty members of the AIE at Lac Hong University.

    With the goal of improving the overall quality of education at the university, and the Tourism and Travel Management program in particular, the University Administration has decided to implement the program evaluation process according to the AUN standards. This is an important step in ensuring quality and harmonization with other universities in the ASEAN region.

     

    During the meeting, Dr. Lam Thanh Hien emphasized the importance of ensuring the quality of education and encouraged all members of the team to carefully and meticulously implement the self-assessment process. He also stressed that adhering to the AUN standards will help us improve the quality of our training, enhance our competitiveness, and build trust from students and businesses.

    Mr. Le Phuong Truong, Who is with extensive experience in the field of testing and evaluation, shared specific methods and processes to implement the evaluation process according to the AUN standards. He emphasized the necessity of collecting data, analyzing and evaluating objectively to ensure accurate and reliable results.

    The meeting took place in a dynamic and professional atmosphere, with active participation from both the leaders and the faculty. Issues, challenges, and opportunities were openly discussed, and solutions were proposed to ensure that the self-assessment process runs smoothly and achieves the best possible results.

    The meeting ended with a commitment from all team members to work diligently and cooperate actively to complete the self-assessment process according to the AUN standards. Together, they aim to achieve the highest quality of education and build a sustainable Tourism and Travel Management Major. It is hoped that through the dedication and efforts of the university and the faculty, the academic program will be evaluated and recognized in the upcoming assessment.
